VP of Operations/COO position
TaylorBaynes is working with a European deeptech company to recruit a VP of Operations/COO, based anywhere in Europe.
- Experience of taking total ownership of manufacturing from early-stage product design onwards through the manufacturing/production lifecycle (for a higher volume product).
- International experience of managing subcontractors and manufacturing partners. This includes sourcing, selecting and negotiating with international partners, making sure systems are in place, as well as ensuring on-target delivery.
- An electronics or related manufacturing, production or technical background.

First-on-the-ground USA Sales hire
TaylorBaynes has been retained by an exciting European open-source startup company, which needs to recruit its first USA-based Salesperson, the company's 1st hire in North America.
This is not a typical Sales role, my client needs someone who has been through the early stages of a SaaS or Opensource tech company, where they have helped establish Sales processes, reporting and frameworks.
Some key points include:
- Deal sizes at present are ranging from $10k to $40k, with an average of around $25k
- My client needs a Salesperson who is experienced in selling software/SaaS to Developers & Engineering Leaders specifically. This includes: the VP of Engineering, Head of Engineering, CTO, Engineering Managers
- My client has been selling purely inbound to date, and needs a salesperson to help them in the transition to outbound sales
- The person must be based on the East Coast, USA.
- The person needs to be a proactive, motivated salesperson as the 1st USA hire in a fully remote company.

Senior Sales Executive - Germany/DACH
TaylorBaynes is building out the EMEA Sales team for a Nordic-based network security scaleup vendor, which has been growing 40% consistently for the past 3 years.
We have recruited multiple Sales people across Europe including 1 Senior Account Executive in Germany, who is performing extremely well. Hence we have been tasked to find another Account Executive for the Germany team.
The key points are:
- 80-90% new business sales, so we really need that hunter-type profile
Must have sold either cybersecurity, IoT or networking solutions (in that order of preference) - Clients range across industries, retail, finance, health.
- Deal lengths are typically 4-6 months
- Located anywhere in Germany
